Breakfast in the Cloud Opened the Topic of AI and Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity and working with AI have long been at the forefront of attention, yet they continue to remain highly relevant. In collaboration with technology vendors Red Hat and Huawei, we aimed to help organizations better understand how to dive deeper into these topics while also providing practical recommendations for their implementation. For this reason, we organized the expert conference Breakfast in the Cloud: AI & Security.

Ján Bartek, Senior IT Infastructure Architect z Asseco CE Cloud, offered valuable insights into real-world cyberattacks along with recommendations for organizational prevention. He opened with a case study of an attack on a well-known company, where attackers gained access to the internal system through a simple phone call to the helpdesk. They maintained access for up to two months, ultimately causing significant financial losses. This example clearly demonstrated how even a seemingly minor security flaw can have a major impact.

The speaker also shared a set of recommendations and security baseline measures that can help organizations minimize the risk of similar incidents. In conclusion, he presented specific Microsoft tools focused on identity protection, which help detect suspicious activities early and strengthen the overall security posture of organizations.

Another speaker, Patrik Plachý, Solution Architect z RedHatu, který se ve své prezentaci zaměřil na budování podnikové důvěry v éře autonomních agentů. Adopce umělé inteligence v podnicích probíhá rychleji než zavádění principů zodpovědné AI, což vytváří významná rizika. Představil klíčové pilíře Responsible AI podle strategie Red Hat a vysvětlil, proč je důležité budovat AI řešení transparentně, bezpečně a eticky.

The presentation also covered how to effectively approach the design and use of AI agents—from initial setup to managing their outputs. A live demo complemented the session, clearly demonstrating how the solution works in practice and helping the audience better understand the concept in real-world deployment.

The presentation of Rudolfa Hrušku, CTO Datacenter Solutions z Huawei, was focused on modern solutions for data centers in the era of artificial intelligence and on building infrastructure for its effective use. He highlighted key requirements for performance, scalability, and security in an environment where the importance of AI and data-driven work is rapidly growing.
He also introduced a storage portfolio designed for a wide range of scenarios—from traditional applications to demanding AI use cases. These solutions enable flexible responses to diverse data needs and support efficient data management and processing in modern IT environments.
