UpSteer 2026: Innovation program for tech talents launches its fourth edition
The UpSteer incubator program, organized by the international IT company Asseco Central Europe, is now opening applications for its fourth edition. Tech startups from Slovakia and the Czech Republic can once again apply for six months of mentoring, practical consultations, and access to IT and business experts – entirely free of charge. Applications can be submitted until March 15 through the official website of the incubator.
The UpSteer program focuses on early stage projects in fintech, ERP solutions, healthcare, Industry 4.0, public administration, as well as cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Its mission is to help startups grow – from an initial idea to real business opportunities.
Mentoring by top experts – including a specialist from Asseco CE Cloud
Participants in UpSteer will have the opportunity to consult their solutions with leading figures of the Slovak and Czech IT scene. The program is led by Jozef Klein, CEO of Asseco Central Europe and Asseco International.
In addition to central mentors, the program strengthens its expert support in the areas of cloud technologies and cybersecurity. At Asseco CE Cloud, startups have access to an experienced mentor who provides valuable business know how and specializes in cybersecurity and cloud solutions. This allows projects working with modern infrastructure or security challenges to grow significantly faster and avoid critical mistakes in early development stages.
“Startups come to UpSteer with courage and great ideas. Our role is to help them shape their product in a way that brings clear value to customers and prepares them for further growth. I believe that a combination of mentoring and practical insights can accelerate the path to real results. That is why we at Asseco CE Cloud are part of this program,” says Peter Fuska, CEO of Asseco CE Cloud.
Program that delivers real success
Since its launch in 2022, UpSteer has helped numerous startups transform their ideas into functional products. Successful alumni include Rewora, OWASmooth, Rewardly, AudtiMaster.ai, Appara, and Daitable.
The winner of the previous edition, Rewora, now helps e-shops work with customer reviews in ways that increase trust and sales. “UpSteer helped us create a comprehensive business plan and moved us forward. Today, we enter the market with a clear technological and financial vision. Without Asseco, it would have taken us much longer,” said Kamil Kušnirák, the team lead.
Free participation and attractive premises
In addition to mentoring, program participants gain access to coworking spaces in Bratislava or Brno, investment opportunities, and a network of contacts with key players in banking, healthcare, insurance, and industry. Participation remains completely free of charge, as Asseco aims to support new talent and advance innovative solutions.
Startups interested in joining the program can register until March 15 through the official program website:
