The CPX 2024 conference, regularly organized by Check Point, is a prestigious international event focused on current issues and innovations in the field of cybersecurity. It allows IT security professionals to gain the latest information, share their experiences, and discuss current trends, challenges, and solutions in the area of protection against cyber threats.

Check Point Experience annually brings together the experts and leaders in cybersecurity. It was an honor for us to participate in this remarkable event as a coffee partner and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere of the conference.

Main theme of the conference: Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity

The main theme of this year’s CPX 2024 conference was artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on cybersecurity. At Asseco CE Cloud , we deal with cybersecurity issues, which is why the content of the conference is particularly relevant to us. We attended presentations on artificial intelligence, covering topics such as the ways AI is developing, how it influences our daily lives and business, and the new challenges it brings to the world of cybersecurity.

In the opening minutes of the program, the idea was raised: Is artificial intelligence good or bad? There is no clear answer to this question, but through presentations and discussions with other experts, we gained deeper insights into this complex and constantly evolving phenomenon.

Data vulnerability and digital identity

Jedným z bodov konferencie bola prezentácia o skutočnosti, ako rýchlo sa môžu dáta dostať do ohrozenia, a aké riziká sa spájajú s digitálnou identitou v dobe rastúcich kybernetických hrozieb. Prednášky poskytli cenné informácie o tom, ako sa chrániť pred kybernetickými útokmi a správne reagovať na potenciálne hrozby. Na panelovej diskusii s Tomášom Mikolovom, svetovou vedeckou špičkou na umelú inteligenciu a strojové učenie, sme si vypočuli trendy a výzvy v oblasti AI, a ako by mohli byť nápomocné pri otázkach spoločenského charakteru, ako napríklad v zdravotníctve a školstve.

The eighth edition of the Check Point Experience conference once again confirmed the significant power and influence that AI has on the future of technology, not only in cybersecurity but across various sectors. Artificial intelligence continuously brings new opportunities, but also challenges that will need to be addressed on a global scale.
